Armarios y vitrinas

No se si a tí te pasa, pero yo a lo largo de los años me he ido haciendo con  una pequeña colección de sábanas, mantas, edredones y cojines, que por alguna razón (sentimental), no puedo deshacerme de ellos. No son muchos, pero sí son  especiales, delicados y muy valiosos para mí.

Son esas pequeñas cosas, que me llevan a momentos tan especiales como el nacimiento de mis hijos, sus mantitas de colores suaves y tan gustosas al tacto, o a esos cojines comprados en lugares del mundo que representaron para mí libertad o reencuentros, y a los que probablemente no vuelva, o esas sábanas bordadas a mano, totalmente artesanales, únicas y que me traen a la memoria personas y mundos  que ya no están pero que fueron muy importantes para mí. 

Creo que se merecen un lugar especial, un armario o vitrina con alma e historia donde puedan permanecer hasta esos días especiales que decido mostrarlos. Y esas vitrinas con puertas acristaladas, con cierto aire provenzal y sabor antiguo, son ideales. En blanco roto, o cualquier otro color claro y envejecido crearán el rincón ideal para tus tesoros textiles.

Sea cual sea la decoración en tu casa seguro que sabes donde colocarla para que luzca en todo su esplendor, tanto el continente como el contenido.

I do not know if it happens to you, but over the years I've been doing with a small collection of sheets, duvets and cushions, that for some reason (sentimental), I can not get rid of them. There are not many, but they are special, delicate and very valuable to me.
It is these little things that lead me to such special moments as the birth of my children, their softly colored blankets and so touchy to the touch, or those cushions bought in places of the world that represented for me freedom and probably do not come back, or those sheets embroidered by hand, unique and that bring to my memory people and worlds that are no longer but that were very important for me.
I think they deserve a special place, a wardrobe or showcase with soul and history where they can stay until those special days that I decide to show them. And those showcases with glazed doors, with a certain Provencal air and ancient flavor, are ideal. Broken white, or any other light and aged color will create the ideal corner for your textile treasures.
Whatever the decoration in your home, you know where to place it so that it looks in all its splendor, both the continent and the content.
